iDiski TV analyst Benedict Vilakazi has heaped praise on Kaizer Chiefs striker Etiosa Ighodaro for his performance in the CAF Confederation Cup match against AS Simba at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday.
Ighodaro scored his maiden goal in Chiefs colours as his side thumped the DR Congo side 3-1 in the 2nd leg second round preliminary match and qualified for the group stage of the tournament.
Tso said the Nigerian reminds him of Lazarus Kambole adding that the former is going to be important for Amakhosi and it has already shown in the match.
“This one reminds me of my favourite player Kambole,” said Tso on iDiski TV.
“There are certain players you need in a team whether they play or not. Ighodaro is very important player at Kaizer Chiefs, I mean look at the score today [Sunday], when was the last time you saw Kaizer Chiefs winning like that. He is still going to finish teams, people are still going to cry.
“You know giving players a chance there’s two things that will happen, either the player will come in and lift up the game, or the player will come in and drop the game.”
The 24-year-old marksman could once again be in line to start for Amakhosi who are up against Durban City at the Moses Mabhida Stadium this evening.
City entertain Amakhosi at 19:30.
