Iqraam Rayners picked up the award after Stellenbosch FC beat Chippa United 2-1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, while Keagan Dolly won it on his return to Kaizer Chiefs. Amakhosi, though, didn’t have much else to celebrate after being knocked out by AmaZulu.
Late on Saturday, Jamie Webber won the accolade in his side’s 1-0 win over Royal AM.
On Sunday, Andile Jali won R100 000 despite Moroka Swallows losing 2-1 to Richards Bay, while Ndumiso Mabena won it in Polokwane City’s 4-1 thrashing of SuperSport United.
