Kaizer Chiefs striker Ashley Du Preez has praised Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro ahead of the Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday.
Du Preez has made it into the PSL All Stars team for the second successive time and he’s got a chance to win the trophy back-to-back under Riveiro.
This is also the second time he will be coached by the Spanish tactician, as he led them in the previous campaign and was again voted as coach for the PSL All Stars.
Du Preez highly praised Riveiro ahead of Saturday’s clash against Magesi FC.
“Its our second time with the coach [Jose Riveiro], he’s very good and he understands the players very well, so it will be a nice game on the weekend,” he said.
“His consistency and how he’s been as a coach [makes him successful]. The first time I got the opportunity to work with him, he was very positive.
“I think for me as a player, coach Riveiro has been a great coach and he’s been doing well at the club.
“With his experience and all the players going into this weekend’s game, he’s doing a great job.”
