Kaizer Chiefs‘ DStv Diski Challenge starlet Naledi Hlongwane has detailed his football journey with childhood friend Relebohile Mofokeng from being rivals to sharing the same dressing room.
The young duo formed part of the Carling All Stars side that defeated Magesi FC 3-0 in the Carling Black Label Cup in Orlando on Saturday.

Hlongwane netted a brace and shared the history he has with the Bafana Bafana winger from where they started, their different career paths and rivalry.
The Amakhosi youngster further revealed how it felt being in a great team in their Carling Black Label Cup triumph which felt good.
“The feeling I could say it was good because me and Mofokeng we grew up together in Vaal,” Hlongwane told reporters.

“Since primary, then he went to School of Excellence then I went to General Smuts. Then we played tournaments against the School of Excellence. Then later, he went to Orlando Pirates then I went to Kaizer Chiefs then we became rivals.
“But today we were in a great team,” he said.
