Rising Kaizer Chiefs starlet Naledi Hlongwane has heaped huge plaudits on Jose Riveiro after the Carling Cup final triumph, thanking him for trusting and believing in him.
The 19-year-old striker was one of the standout DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) players who stole the show at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, netting a brace in their 3-0 win over Magesi.

“We started training on Thursday, and all I could say is that he’s a great coach,” Hlongwane told the media.

“I could say that he showed that he could believe in me and pushed me on Thursday training and Friday that you can do this.”
With the Carling Cup triumph now a thing of the past, Hlongwane will be looking to set his sights on making a significant impact at club level and earn a move to Amakhosi’s first-team alongside the likes of Mfundo Vilakazi and Wandile Duba just to mention a few.
