Latest PSL Update On Chiefs & Sundowns Clash At FNB

The PSL has confirmed that the Carling Knockout Cup quarterfinal tie between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 2 November, is a sold-out affair.

After meeting in the Betway Premiership earlier on in the season, where Masandawana triumphed 2-1 on that occasion courtesy of strikes from Lucas Ribeiro and Iqraam Rayners, the two giants will once again renew their rivalry where Chiefs will look to avenge their defeat while Sundowns on the other hand will be out to make it back-to-back wins against the Soweto side.

Late on Thursday, ticket sales had surpassed the 55 000 mark, with the PSL now confirming on Friday morning that 87 364 of the tickets made available, including hospitality, had been sold out.
