Magesi FC and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting XIs for today’s Carling Knockout Cup final at Toyota Stadium.
Dikwena Tsa Metsi aims to continue with their fairytale this evening and make history by winning their first major trophy. Clinton Larsen’s side eliminated Orlando Pirates, TS Galaxy, and Richards Bay to reach the final.
The Limpopo-based side is also enjoying a good run of seven matches, and it is unbeaten in all competitions. They are used in playing away matches in this competition as they played all the games away from home.
Sundowns, on the other hand, looks to bring back the memories of 2019 when they won the league cup competition at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Masandawana hasn’t conceded a goal so far in this competition and they are the highest-scoring team with 11 goals.
Downs eliminated Lamontville Golden Arrows, Kaizer Chiefs, and Marumo Gallants to reach the final of the Carling Knockout Cup final. Having played the semi-final in Bloemfontein against Gallants, Downs is more familiar with the conditions.
