Ramovic – What I’ll Tell Mojela After Pen Miss

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has revealed what he will tell Lehlogonolo Mojela after he missed the last penalty in their 5-4 shootout defeat to Stellenbosch FC in the Carling Knockout Cup final.

Mojela, 27, turned somewhat from hero into villain after he missed Galaxy’s sixth penalty before Darrel Matsheke scored for Stellies to send the Winelands side into wild celebrations.

Earlier in the game Mojela had given Galaxy a 1-0 first-half lead but it was cancelled out in the second half by Ismael Olivier Toure.

While it was Stellenbosch’s first ever trophy, Ramovic missed out on his first silverware as coach, but he insisted he doesn’t hold any grudges against Mojela after his miss – explaining that after all penalties are always a lottery.

“I would just be honest to him and I will tell him what I say now – God tests always the strong guys, and he is a strong guy,” he told reporters.

“And he knows this and this is also a fantastic test to see if he gets in his life – and I’m sure he did many times – knocked down, but he came always back. And I’m absolutely sure that he will do the same thing again.

“We’ll forget about it, we will talk about the great things what he achieved until now and it’s just amazing that he came from NFD [Motsepe Foundation Championship] to improve that much that he became a great player, but we have to still work on it and I’m sure that he will help us to reach our goal.”

Galaxy return to action next week Saturday, when they will face Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership.
