This year’s Carling Black Label Cup will take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 13 December.
The match will be played between the winners of the Carling Knockout Cup final and the Carling All Stars, which is voted for by fans.
Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants battle each other for the Carling Knockout trophy on 6 December, a week before the Carling Black Label Cup takes place.
Over the last two years since the reinsertion of the Carling Cup, the Carling All Stars beat the Carling Knockout Cup winners.
In 2023, Stellenbosch FC lost 2-1, while last season Magesi lost 3-0 – with the Carling All Stars twice coached by Jose Riveiro.
The former Orlando Pirates head coach, who is currently without a club after being sacked by Al Ahly, is now back in South Africa as an ambassador for this year’s campaign.
