Kaizer Chiefs staged a stunning comeback to edge Mamelodi Sundowns 4-2 in a thrilling DDC clash at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday, with Neo Bohloko scoring twice.
Sundowns looked firmly in control after Simphiwe Mlondo and Lehlohonolo Mahlangu struck twice in the first half.
However, Amakhosi produced a remarkable turnaround, with Neo Bohloko netting his second brace on the trot while Samkelo Msimango and Benjamin Eliyahu scored the other goals to complete the comeback.
The victory extended Chiefs’ impressive start to the campaign, following their opening-day win over arch-rivals Orlando Pirates last weekend.
For Sundowns, the defeat halted their early momentum after they opened their reserve league campaign with a win over Durban City in Durban.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Milford bounced back from their opening-day defeat to Richards Bay with a 3-1 victory over Kruger United.
Golden Arrows also secured their first win of the campaign, edging Polokwane City 3-2 after losing to AmaZulu in their opening fixture. Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants, meanwhile, shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
