Downs Stay Three Points Ahead Of Pirates & Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns remain top of the DStv Diski Challenge after round eight.

The young Masandawana team beat Royal AM 2-0 on Sunday to move to 20 points, three ahead of their nearest rivals.

They are one of two teams that remain unbeaten after eight rounds, the other being fourth-placed Sekhukhune United, who picked up their fourth win against Chippa United.

Orlando Pirates moved to second with a 3-0 victory over AmaZulu, moving ahead of Kaizer Chiefs on goal difference. While their senior team couldn’t get the result, Chiefs’ young team beat Golden Arrows 3-2 on Saturday.
