Sekhukhune United have added former Orlando Pirates DStv Diski Challenge head coach Mandla Qhogi to their DDC technical team.
Qhogi has been without a club since leaving Pirates in May after his contract was not renewed.
The former Pirates scout served the Sea Robbers for 18 years and helped the club to bring in players like Relebohile Mafokeng.
This publication has learnt that the CAF A Licence-holding coach has joined Babina Noko’s DDC technical team as assistant to coach Paulus Masehe.
Sekhukhune are sitting sixth on the league table after 11 matches, winning five, drawing four and losing two. They accumulated 19 points, and they are eight points behind table toppers Mamelodi Sundowns.
Qhogi is expected to help Babina Noko to challenge for the title as he previously did with Pirates up until they lost it on the last day to Stellenbosch FC.
