Chiefs Duo In 10 Highest-Valued U20 PSL Players, Pirates Star First

The top 10 highest-valued U20 players in the Premier League Soccer League include two Kaizer Chiefs youngsters but Relebohile Mofokeng is far ahead of his peers.

Amakhosi endured their worst-ever DStv Premiership finish in a low 10th place, missing out on the MTN8 competition ahead of the 2024/25 season. Chiefs are, however, the only team that has two players in this list.

Orlando Pirates teen sensation, Relebohile Mofokeng, who earned his first senior Bafana Bafana call-up against Zimbabwe on Tuesday, unsurprisingly tops the standings with a market value that stands highly at €800,000.

The 19-year-old climbed by a massive €700,000 over the last year and doubled his value from €400,000 to €800,000 since January after cementing a place in Jose Riveiro’s starting XI and being involved in 11 goals across all competitions.

Shandre Campbell, 18, whose had an impressive breakthrough campaign with SuperSport United, has seen his value go up and is at €500,000. Similar to his Pirates peer, Campbell was also involved in 11 goals in 20233/24/

In third spot, is Cape Town City’s 18-year-old talent Luphumlo Sifumba, who made an impressive 11 starts for the Citizens during the 2023/24 season, has his value sitting at €400,000.

Wandile Duba sits with a value of €250,000 in fourth, and he is followed by five players who are all valued at €200,000, namely: Siyabonga Mabena (the youngest in the top 10), Asekho Tiwani, Luke Baartman, Puso Dithejane and Mfundo Vilakazi, who is the second Chiefs star in the to 10.
