Manqoba Not Satisfied With Just Five Vs Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Manqoba Mngqithi says his side could’ve even scored more goals in their 5-1 hammering of Kaizer Chiefs on Thursday.

Masandawana secured their seventh successive league title, beating 10-men Amakhosi 5-1 at FNB Stadium to wrap up the 2023/24 DStv Premiership with six games to spare.

After the game, Sundowns’ players and coach staff were seen celebrating wildly on their rivals home turf, with Mngqithi saying he wanted more.

“It’s always nice to get another one,” he told SuperSport.

“It’s always interesting when you see the boys give such a good performance away from home and make sure that we clean sheet [apart from the penalty].

“A five is good but a six would’ve been better.”
