Mokeke Set For New Adventure

Cape Town Spurs midfielder Thato Mokeke has left the club after a short second stint at the club.

Spurs signed the 33-year-old on a short-term contract after his release from Cape Town City where he suffered what appeared to be a season-ending injury.

In a bid to save their top-flight status, the experienced midfielder who spent four years at the now-defunct Ajax Cape Town was roped in.

But his stay lasted just seven games, in which they won three games, two draws, and two defeats as they finished 16th in the DStv Premiership.

Mokeke has 250 appearances in the top flight and represented SuperSport United, Chippa United and the two Cape Town-based outfits since making his top-flight debut in 2010.
