Orlando Pirates have confirmed that the likes of Richard Ofori, Thembinkosi Lorch and Miguel Timm have all returned to training, while new striker Souaibou Marou could make his debut.
Pirates have won back-to-back DStv Premiership games, scoring seven goals in their 3-1 over Golden Arrows and the 4-1 thumping of Stellenbosch FC.
It the first time this season the Buccaneers managed to grab successive wins in the league and they could extend this run to three against Marumo Gallants on Saturday.
Pirates could potentially climb into third spot with a win and if other results go there way, while Dan Malesela will be keen to end Gallants seven-match winless run that sees them at the bottom of the log.
Jose Riveiro will be keen to finally manage three successive league wins and the Spaniard has been boosted by the return to training of three key players, while Marou could also be in contention to make his debut.
“Having kicked off the year with a few of their stars sidelined, the Buccaneers have made some strides on the injury front with the likes of Richard Ofori and Thembinkosi Lorch now back in training,” the club stated.
“Midfielder Miguel Timm is another player on his way back after missing out of last Sunday’s game against Stellenbosch, while new recruit Souaibou Marou edges closer to his Bucs debut after completing his first full week of training with his new teammates.”
The game kicks off at 20:00 at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
