Pule Breaks Silence After Pirates Exit

Former Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule has sent a farewell message to Buccaneers’ chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza, the coaching team, his ex-teammates and club’s fans.

Pule, 32, signed a new deal at Pirates until 2025 with an option to extend last season but had made just 11 appearances since – starting a mere three games in 2023/24.

On Tuesday, the Sea Robbers announced Pule’s exit after six years at the club, during which he made 146 appearances, scoring 23 goals and setting up 12 more assists to help the club lift five trophies.

“I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks,” he wrote on social media.

“To the Chairman Dr Irvan Khoza thank you for the opportunity you gave me to be part of such an amazing institution.

“To the Management & technical team, your dedication, expertise, and tireless efforts behind the scenes have been nothing short of remarkable.

“To my fellow players, it has been an honor and a privilege to share the pitch with such a talented and passionate group of individuals. The bonds we have formed both on and off the field will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for the memories we have created together.

“And last but certainly not least,to our loyal supporters, your unwavering dedication and unwavering support have been the backbone of this team. Your passion and enthusiasm have inspired us to push harder, aim higher, and never give up, and for that, I am truly thankful.

“Thank you once again for everything, and know that I will always cherish the time we spent together.”
