Ramovic Taunts Mokwena After Heated Clash

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has once again reignited his feud with Mamelodi Sundowns counterpart Rulani Mokwena following a drama-filled DStv Premiership encounter at Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The two sides had to settle for a share of the spoils after Puso Dithejane netted the opener for the hosts in the 78th minute before Peter Shalulile’s 85th-minute equaliser ensured that the league champions maintained their 53-match unbeaten streak, and are now just a win away from an Invincible season.

Speaking after the match, Ramovic took several shots at Mokwena, pointing out the differences in financial means of both clubs.

“You don’t win with million dollar players, you win with million dollar attitude players,” he told SuperSport TV.

“This is what we have. We don’t have the financial power like them to spend over 200 million and to be outclassed let’s say like this, because we dominated the whole game.

“Credit to my players, again credit to my players, because we played three games ago. We didn’t change five players like they did because they have a bigger squad.”

Ramovic then told Mokwena to go into the transfer market and buy Real Madrid-bound superstar Kylian Mbappe, as well as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, if he wanted to beat him in his backyard.

“If we finish in fourth spot, it will be for like we won the league because if you see what financial power we have and what others have, especially Mr Sunshine with the troop here,”

“This is hard work and this is quality and this is the highest education as a coach.

“If they want to beat us again, maybe they should buy Mbappe, Ronaldo and Messi, maybe then he has a bigger chance.

“If not then he has to take the highest education because this is what he don’t have.”

Commotion between the Sundowns and Galaxy technical team members still ensued after the match, with heavy police presence.

It got completely out of control to a point where Mokwena had to be restrained by his own players and technical team members.
