Ramovic Not Keen On Continuing War of Words With Rulani

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic was not keen to add more fuel to the fire of his recent feud with Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena.

Ramovic’s Galaxy lost 2-0 to Cape Town Spurs on Sunday, ending their four-match winning streak.

They will now host Sundowns in their next game, with many neutrals keen how the recent feud between Ramovic and Mokwena pens out on the sidelines.

The Galaxy boss, though, was not keen to add more fuel to the fire ahead of Wednesday’s clash.

“I think we talked a lot during the last days, and actually I don’t have this energy more to talk about him or talk about anything,” Ramovic said when asked by iDiski Times.

“I just want to prepare my team and try to win the game again. And then we will get again attention.”

Ramovic also insisted his side will give their best against the league leaders, despite being hampered by less financial means.

“Let’s talk about… we will analyse them, we have three more days, but we did actually already, we watch the game that they played in the CAF,” he added.

“We will also be the game they played in the league the last time. So we know exactly how they want to play. But yeh, we will try again our best.

“We know that Sundowns is the benchmark in our league. A lot of fantastic players, great quality upfront, they can buy who they want. And we can’t, maybe Spurs they can also buy who they want, they have a lot of money I suppose. No? (laughs)

“So for us, we have to find ways how we can succeed. Because we don’t have this kind of financial power. But we try our best, I think it will be a very exciting game.

“And our goal is every game, it’s a chance that you can win against any team in this league.”

Galaxy host Sundowns at 19:30 on Wednesday.
