Amorim Rips Into Rashford After Fulham Win

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has aimed an astonishing dig at want-away striker Marcus Rashford after claiming he would rather play his goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital, who is 63, than the United star.

Rashford was once again a notable absentee in United’s 1-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday might, making it 11 games since he last featured after saying he was seeking a ‘new challenge’ away from the club.

The United boss confirmed that Rashford’s his attitude in training has not changed, and for that, he will keep overlooking the 27-year-old for selection.

“It’s always the same reason,” said Amorim, according to Daily Mail.

“The reason is the training. The way I see what a footballer should do in training, in life, every day. If things don’t change, I will not change.

“You can see it today on the bench. We needed a little bit of pace to change the game to move some pieces, but I prefer it like that.

“I will put Vital on before I put a player that doesn’t give the maximum. I will not change in that department.

“It’s the same situation for every player. If you do the maximum, if you do the right things, we can use every player.”

Lisandro Martinez’s deflected strike just under five minutes from time saw the Old Trafford outfit move 12th.
