Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Brazilian striker João Pedro from Brighton & Hove Albion on an eight-year contract until 2033.
The 23-year-old has penned a £55m fixed transfer fee plus £5m add-ons and will look to have a great season with the Blues after scoring 10 times with seven assists in 30 outings across all competitions last season.
The former Watford centre-forward becomes Chelsea’s second summer signing after the arrival of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
Chelsea are currently at the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA having had a terrific run which sees them into the last eight where they take on Palmeiras in Philadelphia on Friday, 4 July.
