Sancho Breaks Silence After Chelsea Snub

Jadon Sancho has broken his silence following the end of his loan stint at Chelsea after the Blues opted against signing him permanently.

The London club had an option to buy him outright for £25million but instead paid Manchester United £5million not to sign him after the two parties failed to agree on personal terms.

The 25-year-old had a public fallout with former manager Erik ten Hag which saw the club ship him off to the Blues on loan after a brief spell at German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

With his future at Old Trafford remaining up in the air, Sancho has now broken his silence after leaving the UEFA Conference League winners.

“Grateful for the experience,” Sancho said on his Instagram, as per Daily Mail.

“Big love to everyone at Chelsea who made me feel at home – team-mates, staff, and the fans.

“Wishing the club all the best moving forward. Truly grateful, thank you Blues.”

Sancho did not have the best of 2024-25 at Stamford Bridge but did rack up a goal in the Conference League final as Chelsea hammered Real Betis 4-1.

His contract at United runs until 2026 which includes an option of a further year.
