AmaZulu Will Miss New Signing Due To Loan Agreement

AmaZulu will face leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday evening, but they will be without Sfiso Ngobeni due to the loan agreement.

Usuthu signed Ngobeni in the January transfer window on loan from Sundowns until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old made his debut in a 3-1 loss against Cape Town Spurs a week ago, playing 68 minutes before he was replaced by another new signing in Augustine Mulenga.

This publication understands that Ngobeni won’t be able to play tonight against his mother club Sundowns due to a clause in his loan agreement between the two teams.

It’s nothing new, as players such as Thabiso Kutumela, Ricardo Goss and Godspower Ighodaro were also not allowed to face Sundowns this season since there are on loan at Cape Town City and SuperSport United, respectively.

Namibian international Riaan Hanamub is expected to continue in the left-back position, as he did when AmaZulu beat their rivals Royal AM in the Nedbank Cup Last 32.

Meanwhile, Sundowns will miss Mosa Lebusa after he picked up a suspension in the previous match.
