Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat won two awards at the Castle Soccer Stars awards that were held by the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League.
Yadah FC won the race to sign Billiat at the beginning of the Castle Premier League in Zimbabwe, beating the likes of Dynamos FC.
The former Kaizer Chiefs forward had an explosive season with Yadah FC as he made 26 appearances, scoring 13 goals and assisting another 11 to make it 24 goal contributions.
After his good season, he was awarded on the night of the Castle Soccer Stars ceremony, being named Fans Choice Award while also becoming the second runners-up in Soccer Star Of The Year where he came behind Walter Musona and Lynoth Chikuhwa.
The 34-year-old’s contract with Yadah is coming to an end at the end of this month and it remains unclear where he is heading with several clubs understood to be interested in his services.
