The PSL has confirmed fixtures, dates and venues for the Carling Knockout Cup last 16 fixtures which will commence on Friday, 18 October, between AmaZulu and defending champions Stellenbosch FC.
Stellies kick off their cup defence with another trip to KwaZulu-Natal to face a new-look Usuthu outfit who have just appointed Arthur Zwane and Vusumuzi Vilakazi as joint head coaches to steer their ship after a dismal start to the 2024/25 campaign.
On Saturday, 19 October, cup specialists Orlando Pirates welcome newcomers Magesi eSgodini, while Cape Town City take on Royal AM at Athlone Stadium.
At Lucas Moripe Stadium in the late afternoon kick off, Mamelodi Sundowns tackle Golden Arrows, before Polokwane City and Marumo Gallants battle it out at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
On Sunday, 20 October, last season’s runners-up, TS Galaxy will be in action against Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium. SuperSport United then take on a rejuvenated Kaizer Chiefs side at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Richards Bay and Sekhukhune United will then conclude the last 16 fixtures when they go toe-to-toe at King Zwelithini Stadium.
