Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that seven players will be sidelined for their Betway Premiership clash against Siwelele FC on Wednesday, though three are closer to recovery.
The Glamour Boys touched down in Mzansi on Sunday after their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round 1st leg clash against Simba AS in Lubumbashi. The two sides played to a 0-0 stalemate with all to play for in the return leg on Saturday, 26 October, at Dobsonville Stadium.

George Matlou, Thabiso Monyane, Ethan Chislett, Paseka Mako, Bontle Molefe, Given Msimango, Rushin Dortley, Lebohang Maboe, Etiosa Ighodaro and Nkanyiso Shinga have all been ruled out.
Amakhosi confirmed on Monday morning that the above-mentioned players will play no part in Wednesday’s league clash at FNB Stadium.
“Injury Update: Matlou, Monyane, Chislett, Mako, Molefe, Msimango, Dortley, Maboe, Ighodaro, Shinga.”
In response to this publication, the club however added that the likes of Maboe, Ighodaro and Shinga are close to regaining full match fitness.
