Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants have announced their starting XIs for the Cufa Cup match at Bloemfontein Stadium this afternoon.
The match is poised to go ahead and kick off at 15:00 after Gallants had threatened to pull put of the encounter.
The match is part of the big Cultural Urban Festival Africa which is taking place in the City of Roses from 3 October until 13 October, with music, arts and cultural events scheduled to take place in Mangaung.
Both teams already met on match day one of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership when Amakhosi came from a goal down to beat Dan Malesela’s side 2-1.
Chiefs have since picked up another win and a defeat, while Gallants started the new campaign with three losses and one win.
With both teams last in action on 28 September and only returning next weekend in the Carling Knockout, today’s fixture will be a good indication of who has maintained match sharpness.
