The DStv Diski Challenge title race could go down to the wire, with the Chippa United saga yet to be decided. Kaizer Chiefs welcome stubborn Richards Bay, Stellenbosch FC take on AmaZulu, while Mamelodi Sundowns are up against Orlando Pirates.
The Glamour Boys could start dreaming about their first-ever DDC title if the pending DC case against Chippa goes in their favour. Amakhosi were supposed to play the Chili Boyz earlier this year, but the game was postponed due to the unavailability of the stadium. By the looks of things, Chiefs could get a walkover, which will put them four points clear of Stellies, and a step closer to the trophy ahead of their clash with the Natal Rich Boyz.

Stellies do battle against a rejuvenated Usuthu who have won three of their last five games while the Cape Winelands outfit chase their third consecutive DDC title. Stellies face a challenge though with some players in Tanzania for the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final tie against Simba SC while others compete in the U19 Bayhill Premier Cup happening in Belhar, Erica Park.
Though they’re out of the title race, bragging rights are what Pirates will be playing for against Sundowns at Isak Steyl Stadium. The Buccaneers are currently sitting in fourth place with 47 points, 11 points behind league leaders Chiefs, while the Brazilians could also be out of the title conversation if Chiefs beat Bay.
