Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed they will use their own Kappa-designed match balls in each of their 15 home games in the DStv Premiership this season.
Amakhosi and Kappa have reunited after their previous partnership between 1988 and 1996, and the club’s technical sponsor doesn’t only supply match kits, training gear and lifestyle apparel, but also a new bespoke ball – the KAPPA KAIZER CHIEFS PLAYER 20.1E AM SOCCER BALL.
Chiefs will play their home games in Johannesburg at the FNB Stadium, at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane and the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban this season, kick off their 2023/24 at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
They will use the distinctive match ball, which is FIFA-approved, crafted in the club’s famous colours and emblazoned with the Kappa and Chiefs logos.
The new ball will debut when Chiefs host Chippa in their first DStv Premiership game of the 2023/24 season but it is also available in various sizes at Kappa outlets around the country, as well as at the Kaizer Chiefs Retail Store at the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena, and online at the Kaizer Chiefs Digi Store, at www.kaizerchiefs.com.
