Chippa United and Orlando Pirates have confirmed their starting line-ups for this evening’s DStv Premiership round three clash at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The Chilli Boys seems to have left their goalscoring boots in the pre-season, as they are yet to find the back of the net this season after two goalless draws.
Morgan Mammila’s side had a good transfer window, signing offensive players such as Augustine Mulenga, Luvuyo Memela, Menzi Ndwandwe and Craig Martin, but they haven’t really clicked yet.
Meanwhile, Pirates are firing from all cylinders and will look to continue where they left off against Sekhukhune United in MTN8.
The Sea Robbers scored nine goals in a space of just two games at Orlando Stadium, but the question remains will they do it away from home this time around.
On-form Zakhele Lepasa will look to continue with his goalscoring run, having scored five times in the last two matches.
On Tuesday night, the Eastern Cape-based side will look to do something they haven’t done in seven years – which is to beat Pirates.
Goodman Mosele, who is on loan at Chippa from Pirates, might be helpful for inside information as he spent some time on pre-season with the Buccaneers.
Jose Riveiro’s side claimed a 2-0 win three months ago when they faced United at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Here is how they line up:
