DC Rules In Favour Of Chiefs

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has ruled in favour of Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants after a long pending case against Chippa United.

With exactly two weeks remaining before the DDC season comes to an end, there’s a big twist in the DDC title race, which could see Chiefs moving closer and closer to the title.

After over two months of waiting, the wait is finally over with Amakhosi coming victorious in a long-standing case between them and Chippa United.

iDiski Times has learnt that Amakhosi were awarded three points and three goals on Thursday by the PSL DC after Chippa United failed to honour their fixture back in February. Chiefs will move to 64 points, opening the gap to four between them and Stellenbosch who are on 61.

Should Chiefs beat Magesi FC on Saturday morning at Dobsonville Stadium, they will be crowned DDC champions for the very first time in the competition’s 10-year history.

Vela Khumalo’s side have already beaten Dikwena Tsa Meetse 1-0 in the first round away from home.

Stellenbosch will host Marumo Gallants in Western Cape with hope that Magesi can delay a part at Dobsonville Stadium and they can also win their game.
