Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars have completed the signing of former Cape Town City defender Sanele Gaxa.
Gaxa had a promising career coming from AmaZulu FC development side before he joined City and played in the reserve side. The diminutive defender spent one season at the Mother City-based outfit before he was loaned out to Cape Town All Stars.

A season later, he returned to City after his loan spell expired but was released by the club before the 26-year-old then joined Maritzburg United (now, Durban City) but was also released there.
iDiski Times can confirm that Gaxa has officially joined MFC second placed side Casric.
Stars is one of the two sides that haven’t lost a game this season alongside Eastern Cape based Highbury FC.
Gaxa is expected to play a major role in the Stars’ fight for automatic promotion as they have been into playoffs twice already.
