Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies opened up a seven-point gap at the top of the Hollywoodbets Super League standings after dispatching TS Galaxy 3-1 with Ezemvelo thumping Royal AM 3-0 to edge closer to the top half of the table.
Refilwe Tholakele netted a hat-trick for the defending champions with two goals coming in the first half and the other late in the game to see Banyana Ba Style maintain top spot on the standings with 56 points in 22 outings. The hat-trick took the Botswana international’s goal tally to seven this campaign. The Rockets dropped to third place with 48 points from the same number of games.

Meanwhile, University of Fort Hare continued their good form with a 2-1 win over Richmond United in De Aar with the students rising to second place on the log with 49 points in 27 matches. United remained in 10th place on the table with 29 points from 27 games as well.
At the bottom, Durban Ladies remained in trouble as they registered their 19th loss of the season, the most defeats by any side this season, a 3-1 defeat at the hands of University of Johannesburg. The KwaZulu-Natal-based outfit stay rooted to the foot of the table with eight points in 25 games while the Orange Army moved one spot up to sixth position with 38 points in 23 games.
