Banyana Banyana coach Dr Desiree Ellis has named a 38-member squad for an Alignment camp ahead of the COSAFA Women’s Championship and Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
South Africa have not been active since their 2-0 win over Morocco in a WAFCON warm-up match in early December last year and are now gearing up for the two tournaments.

The team assembles for camp on Friday, 13 February, just five days before the COSAFA Women’s Championship in Polokwane while the WAFCON gets underway on 17 March-3 April 2026.
South Africa’s overseas based contingency is then expected to join the rest of their teammates in camp on 25 February 2026 when the FIFA window begins.
