Former Chiefs Forward Leaves New Club After 3 Months

Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Lazalous Kambole has switched clubs just three months after joining Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

Kambole, 28, was among the many players discarded by the end-of-season clear out by at Naturena but it hadn’t taken long for him to find a new home.

Despite the dismal return of two goals in 46 games across all competitions during his three-year stay, Yanga had been long-term admirers of his talents.

The newly crowned Tanzania league champions attempted to secure him from Chiefs over the last two transfer windows but failed to agree personal terms with the Zambia international.

However, with the player available on a free transfer, they had managed to bump up his package and tie him down to a two-year contract.

But in a new twist, Kambole has already left Yanga and joined Ugandan club Wakiso Giants, as confirmed by the Tanzanian Football Federation.
