TS Galaxy have announced the signing of 23-year-old Nigerian goalkeeper Kayode Bankole from Remo Stars.
Bankole joins the Rockets on a free transfer from the NPFL champions in the summer following the expiration of his contract.
The new Galaxy acquisition spent five years with Stars before making the move to the Betway Premiership and becomes the second Nigerian goalkeeper in South Africa’s topflight, following in the footsteps of Stanley Nwabali at Chippa United.
It’s unclear at this stage how Galaxy will proceed with the foreign quota situation as they have already registered five foreign players.

Tape Ira, Igor Salatiel Silva, Paulo Martins Filho, Mory Keita and Mehdi Ouamri have all been registered and have played part for the team already this season.
