He’s A Rare Talent – Zwane On AmaZulu Star

AmaZulu head coach Arthur Zwane says Usuthu are far more likely to come out victorious whenever Nkosikhona Radebe is performing at his best.

Among the qualities he highlighted, he noted that the 24-year-old is explosive, carries the ball at high speed, and can glide past defenders with ease.

Zwane says he pushes Radebe hard because he recognises a “rare talent” in him that often goes unnoticed by others.

He believes that if the former TS Galaxy right-back continues delivering strong performances, he could emerge as one of the top players in the country.

“You must have seen him Nkosi today, he was really on song. Whenever Nkosi exacts himself properly, he shows his quality, we stand a chance of winning any game,” said Zwane.

“But trust me, when Nkosi is not okay, it affects us big time as a team. You get to know his explosiveness, his decision-making, when he’s on song, anything can happen at any given time.

“He’s got a rare talent, and a lot of people don’t see it. And it’s all up to him to grow. He mustn’t blow hot and cold. We’re looking for consistency.

“And he can be something else, he’s very explosive, he’s quick at running with the bullet high speed and can easily eliminate people.

“He reminds me of many, many players that could just eliminate defenders with ease, as if there’s no one in front of him. So, we want him to be consistent.

“If he can play like this [like he did on Saturday against Siwelele] for the remaining games, trust me, he stands a very good chance of being one of the top players in this country in the future.

“So, I’m fighting with him every day, because I see potential. I see he can be something else, and he can be something special.”
