Following a successful first season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Highbury FC have decided to extend the stay of Siyabonga Dubula.
Experienced Dubula played a massive role in making sure that “Amajuba” keep their MFC status. The midfield maestro joined Highbury in January on a short-term contract after leaving Venda FC with the former Cape Town City man scoring goals against Cape Town Spurs and Kruger United.
After impressing the Eastern Cape-based side in his short-period of time at the club, Amajuba have decided to exercise the option in his contract for a further a year, and the contract is now valid until June 2026.
This is the process of the new season for Highbury as they aim to compete next season or at least finish in a better place than this past term.
