Durban City head coach Gavin Hunt has expressed interested in keeping on loan defender Kyle Jurgens from Stellenbosch FC beyond his loan.
Jurgens joined City on loan from Stellenbosch at the beginning of the current season. The 22-year-old has been delivering some great performances in the City colours since joining the Ethekwini-based outfit.

Jurgens already won a Man of the Match award, something that shows his performances aren’t going unnoticed.
Hunt expressed his interest on keeping him permanent but also explained that it is still early to decide.
“Those things are not for me to [decide]. We’ve only played 10 games so far, with 11 or 12 with the cup so I don’t think we can really start talking about that,” Hunt told the media.
“But obviously when you bring a player like that, I am not sure with the clause on that I wasn’t really involved in that, but he has done very well for us.
“Today [Saturday] wasn’t his best. I have seen him playing better but in saying that he is a player I would keep given the opportunity.”
