Jessica Reveals Kaizer Motaung Feelings Over Chiefs Case

Kaizer Chiefs Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung has opened up how her father and club chairman Kaizer Motaung feels about the ongoing case with the Premier Soccer League.

The PSL confirmed on Thursday that the case will be heard at the High Court on 5 May, but the games against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows could be rescheduled and played before that date – a decision Cape Town City have since questioned and stated they will not take part in.

Jessica Motaung, meanwhile, has expressed her own shock at how the Premier Soccer League has handled the case and questioned why the arbitration ruling is not final.

She also added that her father is very sad about the how the case has been handled.

“The chairman is very involved. I think [he is] sad, I don’t even want to elaborate,” she toldThabiso Mosia on MetroFMSport.

“I think for a man who has contributed so much to South African football, for a who who stands for what is best for South African football, he himself with his own organisation going through this.

“I’m very sad for him when I see the pressure that he’s going through. I just pray that we can get this difficult time.”

Chiefs return to action on Saturday, when they will host SuperSport United at 19:30 at the FNB Stadium, with the club fans being allowed in the stands for a first time since 2020.
