Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr is ecstatic to welcome back new signing Lebohang Maboe to Naturena who he feels will add valuable experience to the side.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns winger is a graduate of the Amakhosi development and joins up with one player who he played alongside with during their junior days in Zitha Kwinika.
Maboe marked as Chiefs’ 10th acquisition of the current season and Motaung Jr hopes that the 30-year-old contributes immensely as they participate on the domestic and continental front.
“We know Lebo is a quality player who has gained valuable experience in continental competitions over the past few years,” he told the club’s website.
“His expertise will be crucial for us in both the domestic league and the CAF Confederation Cup.
“We’re pleased to welcome him back to Amakhosi. He was here and knows the culture and what our supporters expect from our players.”
