Lorch Stars For Wydad
Friday night was no different as the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker helped his side beat CODM Meknès 3-1 on the road.
The visitors took the lead just five minutes in through Joseph Bakasu assisted by Lorch before the latter doubled Wydad’s lead in the 35th minute with a stunning shot into the top left corner. Adnane Berdad then reduced the deficit for the hosts in the 39th minute.
Wydad thwarted any last-ditch efforts from Meknès to claim the all-important maximum points on the road after completing the rout through Hamza Hannouri in the 82nd minute for a huge win.
The win sees Wydad temporarily move top with 10 points from four matches, three ahead of second-placed RS Berkane who take on Union Touarga on Sunday, 5 October.
