Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has admitted that it’s yet to sink in that they’ve won three MTN8 trophies on the trot.
Pirates defeated Stellenbosch FC 3-1 back in October 2024 in Durban to make history of winning the cup three times in a row, a feat that only they have achieved with Mabasa also netting in that final, before Relebohile Mofokeng rounded off the scoring.

Speaking at the club’s MTN8 goals for charity event, the 28-year-old made the admission while adding that they are targeting more on the silverware front.
“It’s a bit of a difficult question to answer, but I feel like it hasn’t sunk in for me personally,” said Mabasa.
