Maema Lands In Egypt Ahead Of Next Move

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Neo Maema ahas rrived in Egypt ahead of his move to Tanzanian giants Simba SC. 

Maema was recently released by Sundowns after spending four seasons at the club where he won four league titles, the Nedbank Cup, one MTN8, and African Football League. 

The former Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder played 120 games at Sundowns and scored 13 goals. 

The 29-year-old arrived in Egypt where Simba are having their pre-season camp ahead of a new Tanzanian Premier League campaign. He is set to be announced as new Simba player in the coming days. 

Maema captained the Bafana Bafana squad that participated in the CHAN tournament in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, but got knocked out in the group stages.

At Simba, Maema will link up with his former Sundowns teammate Rushin De Reuck, as well as the South African technical team around Fadlu Davids.
