Cape Town City U16 head coach Mark Mayambela has jetted out of the country to complete his coaching badge in the UK.
Mayambela continues to upgrade his football knowledge by going through coaching badges. The former Orlando Pirates dribbling wizard arrived in Ireland last night to complete his UEFA A coaching badge. This is the final assessment as he started last year already.
The UEFA A coaching course comes at an expensive price which is around R140K over a two-year period which includes traveling, Visa, and the course.
‘Professor’ has already been touted by many as one for future after his good coaching started at development level.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic trickster has already won the FIFA Under 16 Cup twice in 2022 and 2025, as well as the Engen U18 and 4th Moment U16 Cup.
He is expected to spend one week in Ireland in his UEFA final assessment before returning home.
