Bafana Bafana forward Mihlali Mayambela has reached a milestone of 100 matches in Cyprus for Aris Limassol in his third season with the club.
Mayambela joined Limassol in the 2022/23 season after making an impact in Portugal for SC Farense and immediately contributed to his side winning their first-ever league title in 93 years.
The former Djurgardens speedy winger managed to score four goals and lay four assists in that season. The winning of league also helped the side to qualify for the Europa League.
This is his third season in the side and could win his second league title, should things go their way. They are currently sitting in second place with three games to go, and they are four points behind league leaders Pafos FC.
Mayambela reached a milestone of 100 matches this past weekend in a 1-0 win over AEK. He reaches this milestone with 16 goals and 12 assists.
He has won a league title and the Cyprus Cup in his journey so far.
