Mouloudia Club d’Alger and Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed their respective starting line-ups for this evening’s crunch CAF Champions League encounter at the Ali la Pointe Stadium in Douera.
Alger didn’t start the CAFCL group stages journey as they would’ve wanted after suffering a 2-1 defeat against Al Hilal SC away from home. This was Mokwena’s first defeat since taking charge of The People’s Club.

Coming to this fixture, Mokwena’s side is a bit under pressure as they need to collect maximum points so that they can remain in contention for a place in the knockout stages.
Sundowns on the other hand had a dream start defeating DR Congo side FC St Eloi Lupopo 3-1 at home. The win in the opening game gave them a room to least take even a draw this evening against MCA.
Mokwena and Cardoso will face each other for the third time. Cardoso got the better of Mokwena twice already when he was at ES Tunis and Mokwena was at Sundowns. Full capacity is expected at the stadium as MCA will play in front of a packed stadium for the very first time this season.
