MC Alger head coach Rulani Mokwena is taking things cool things ahead of the massive clash against last season’s CAF Champions League runners-up Mamelodi Sundowns.
The wait is over; MC Alger will battle against Sundowns this evening in the CAFCL second match of the group. Mokwena’s history with Sundowns is the one that spiced up the fixture as well as the history between him and Miguel Cardoso.

Ahead of the much-anticipated clash, Mokwena remained calm and directed the attention to the football game as opposed to individuals like many sees it as ‘Mokwena vs Sundowns’.
He went as far as mentioning that the game belongs to the players.
“At the end it’s players who play but the coaching experience, my past has zero influence on the game,” Mokwena said,
“The game of football belongs to the players. The players know this; I say this to them, we give them information, we train the team.”
Alger and Sundowns do battle at the Ali la Pointe Stadium in Douera at 21:00.
