New European Side Join Singh Race

Romanian side ACSM Politehnica Lasi have joined the race to sign Bafana Bafana forward Luther Singh.

A few days ago, this publication reported that the Singh camp has held talks with Siyabonga Ngezana’s FCSB, as they seem to be interested in signing the 26-year-old.

The former SC Braga winger has been without a team for almost five months after he left his previous side FC Cukaricki.

iDiski Times has now learned that ACSM Politehnica Lasi could be Singh’s new home, as they intensified their interest, while FCSB’s interest seemingly cooled down.

FCSB wanted a back-up for the position of Octavian Popescu and Florinel Coman should they lose them in the current window transfer, while reports in local media also linked him to Kaizer Chiefs.

But new information received by this publication states that the Romanian champions have no doubts in keeping the two forwards.

Lasi, who are known as Moldovans, have made Singh their main priority, as they feel he could add value to the team in making sure they remain in the league.

Last season, newly-promoted Lasi finished two points above the relegation zone in the Romanian Super League relegation group. Lasi has already started their pre-season for 2024/25.
