Ntseki Provides Positive Chiefs Update Ahead of Galaxy Clash

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki says the team looks ‘very strong’ ahead of their clash against TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Chiefs face off against Galaxy aiming for their first league win of the season after opening their season with a 0-0 draw against Chippa United and losing 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns.

They secured a win over Cape Town City away from home in the MTN8 which will no doubt have been a major confidence boost for Ntseki and his charges ahead of the Rockets clash.

“We had a very good week of preparation. Coming back from Cape Town, the boys were well-rested and they feel much fresher coming into this game,” he told the club’s website.

“We have 99% of the players available that we took to Cape Town and the squad looks very strong. On the technical and tactical side of things, we are well prepared to go into this game.

Nteski said they studied Sead Ramovic’s side thoroughly ahead of the only game on in the league on Sunday and they are aiming for a big performance for their supporters who are likely to come out in their numbers in Mpumalanga this afternoon.

“We are fully aware we are playing away, but every game we play as Kaizer Chiefs we play as a home game, because of the number of supporters that come out to support the team,” he added.

“We are looking forward to a very good game to make our supporters happy and make ourselves happy, as we are still to win a game in the DStv Premiership.”
